Step 1 Reset a Forgotten Password using QC View and Email



• Click Forgot Unlock Pattern

Step 2



• Click the drop down option to change the user.
• Select the "admin" user

Step 3



• Click on "Forgot Password"

Step 4



• The QC View app is required to reset your password using an email address.
• Download and Install the QC View app from the app store for your device.
• Open QC View once the app is installed.

• Press the Menu button in the top left corner

• Select "MORE"

Step 7



• Select "Reset Device Password"

• QC View may ask for permission to use your camera, be sure to allow.
• Using the camera on your device, scan the QR code on your screen.

Step 9



• A notification will appear at the bottom of your screen if successful.

Step 10



• Check your Inbox for an email from "qcnotification" and open the email.
• Be sure to check your SPAM folder if the email does not appear in your normal inbox.

Step 11



• Make a note of the 8 digit security code provided in the email.
• The password is case sensitive. Be sure to note the (8 digit) code, and not the SN.

Step 12



• Enter the Security Code in the field.
• The Security Code is case sensitive.
• Click "Next"

• Enter the password you would like to use for your system
• Passwords must contain at least 1 uppercase, 1 special character or, 1 number and be between 8-32 characters.
• Enter the same password in the confirm password field.
• Click "Next"

• Once the password is reset, click "OK"
