How to live stream classroom from CCTV



We need following this achieve Live Stream Classroom from CCTV

Require Products:-

1. Computer - Windows OS (i3, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD)
2. 2MP IP Camera (Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus)
3. External Microphone - (Connect with Computer)
4. VLC Player - (For Testing)
5. OBS Software - (For Live Streaming + Recording)

We need to first connect IP Camera to computer LAN Port and give that camera Power supply.

1. Set IP Address in Computer of IP Camera series ( Default IP Address of IP Cameras of major brands)

1. Hikvision - 192.168.1.64

2. CP Plus - 192.168.1.108

3. Dahua - 192.168.1.108

open IP Camera in Web Browser and login it. (Default Username and password mentioned of camera body label.)Check the RTSP Port Default Port is 554, you must change it to 10554 and save setting.

Here and the RTSP Url for mentioned brands.

1. Hikvision

rtsp://username:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/

2. Dahua

rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0

3. CP Plus

rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0


Note: Password not contain @

Download and Install VLC Player and install it. click on the menu in VLC player and open Network Stream copy and paste the RTSP URL and start it.

if all setting good you will see your IP Camera live stream in VLC Player. 


Now Download and Install OBS Software. 

Create 1 Scene and add Media Source (Remove Local Tick) and add RTSP URL in it. First connect External Microphone with Computer and test it. if all work fine then add Microphone in OBS Software as you added IP Camera (Media Source) So for External Microphone Choose (Audio/Recorded Device and add microphone in OBS Software. Restart the OBS Software and you will see the live stream feed with audio in OBS Software. set recording parameters all all done.
