Method 1: Reset via eTimeTrackLite Software (Recommended)

If your machine is connected to a network (LAN), the easiest way to remove an admin lock is through your management software.

  • Open eTimeTrackLite on your server PC.
  • Go to Device Management and ensure the device status is "Connected."
  • Right-click on your device or navigate to Device Operations.
  • Select the option "Clear Admin Privileges" or "Clear Admin."
  • Once the command is sent, the machine will allow you to enter the Menu without a password so you can register a new administrator.

Method 2: The Master Password Calculation

If the device is standalone (not on a network), you can use the internal calculation method:

  1. Press the Menu key. When prompted for Admin/Password, enter 8888 in the ID field.
  2. Press OK. It will ask for a password.
  3. Note the Time displayed on the machine screen. You will need a "Master Password" that corresponds specifically to that minute.
