How to Repair Hikvision Damage RJ45 Connector

Hikvision IP Cameras RJ45 Female Connector got damage due to water or moisture in it.

There are 2 type of issue raised after that, 

1. some cameras does not take power from PoE Switch itself.

but they can power up by external power (12V. 2amp)

2. Some Cameras still can take power from PoE Switch.

How to Solve Issue 1:-

Camera Cable:-

1. Cut the Camera Connector and throw it.

2. Slice each cable leave, BUT Leave 2 color cables (1. Blue 2. Purple)

3. Cut the 12v. DC Cable of Camera and Joint with LAN Cable White Brown and Brown Wire.

LAN Cable:-

1. On LAN Cable side cut the RJ45 Male connector and slice each cable.

2. Now Joint Camera Cable with LAN Cable with Below diagram.

Camera Cable Color - LAN Cable Color Code

1. BLACK - WHITE ORANGE

2. BROWN - ORANGE

3. GREEN - WHITE GREEN

4. RED - WHITE BLUE

5. ORANGE - BLUE

6. YELLOW - GREEN

7. Camera DC RED - WHITE Brown --- 12V. 2AMP -

8. Camera DC BLACK/GREEN - BROWN --- 12V. 2AMP + 

Now of the other end of LAN cable joint a 12v. 2 amp Power Adaptor with White Brown and Brown.

Properly Tape Each joints with electric Tap, Now Connect  Lan Cable to Switch and 12v. Power Adeptor to start the camera. check Ping of Camera IP Address. Your Problem will be solve.

How to Solve Issue 2:-

Camera Cable:-

1. Cut the Camera Connector and throw it.

2. Slice each cable leave, BUT Leave 2 color cables (1. Blue 2. Purple)

LAN Cable:-

1. On LAN Cable side cut the RJ45 Male connector and slice each cable.

2. Now Joint Camera Cable with LAN Cable with Below diagram.

Camera Cable Color - LAN Cable Color Code

1. BLACK - WHITE ORANGE

2. BROWN - ORANGE

3. GREEN - WHITE GREEN

4. RED - WHITE BLUE

5. ORANGE - BLUE

6. YELLOW - GREEN

Leave White Brown and Brown Cable.

 

Properly Tape Each joints with electric Tap, Now Connect to PoE Switch. check Ping of Camera IP Address.
